10R80, 10R100, 10L80, 10L90 F Clutch Installation | RTK-10R86

Components: (5) Single-sided ID Splined GPZ Frictions, (5) Single-sided OD Splined GPZ Frictions

After installing the F clutch piston, return spring, retainer and apply ring, start the TorqKit

assembly.

To begin, follow these instructions:

1. Install 1 Single Sided OD Splined GPZ Friction plate with the friction material facing up.

2. Install 1 Single Sided ID Splined GPZ Friction plate with the friction material facing up.

3. Continue alternating Single Sided OD Splined GPZ Friction plates and Single Sided ID Splined GPZ Friction plates until all 10 GPZ Friction plates are installed ending with a Single Sided ID Splined GPZ Friction plate.

4. Complete assembling the F clutch drum assembly and check clearance.

Clearance should be 0.048” – 0.068.”

Note: Clearance can be adjusted if necessary, using snap rings available ranging from

1.5mm to 2.5 mm in .2mm increments.
