6R60, 6R80, 6HP26 E CLUTCH (4-5-6 Overdrive) Installation | RTK-6R85

Components: 9 GPZ, 8 .069 Steel, 1 Thick Steel Apply Plate, 2 Selective Steels

1. Install 1 Thick Apply Plate.

2. Install 1 GPZ Friction.

3. Install 1 Thin Steel plate.

4. Continue alternating GPZ friction plates and steel plates until all 9 GPZ friction platesand all 8 thin steel plates are installed ending with a GPZ friction plate.

5. Install the factory backing plate and factory snap ring.

Clearance should be 0.019” – 0.035”

Note: Use the thicker steel plate(s) to adjust clearance as needed.
