The 10R140 transmission is a ten speed automatic transmission developed by Ford and replaces the 6R140 in the TorqShift transmission series. The 10R140 transmission was first developed for 2020 models and is featured on 6.2 Ltr gas, 6.7 Ltr diesel, and 7.3 Ltr gas F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks. More than 2.3 million 10R140 transmission units are scheduled for production through 2028. The 10R140 is standard on the F-350 6.2L V-8 and is optional on the F-250 6.2L V-8.
