4R100 Transmission

The 4R100 transmission is a 4-speed Ford automatic transmission designed for rear-wheel drive trucks and SUVs. The 4R100 transmission was originally paired with the 7.3-liter Powerstroke Diesel Engine and featured in the Ford F150 through F550, E250 through E450, and the Excursion and Expedition. The E4OD and 4R100 transmissions are both electronically controlled and are nearly identical to each other with the 4R100 featuring updated internal components to provide greater durability and rate up to 1,000 foot-pounds of torque. Raybestos Powertrain GPZ friction clutch plates handle the heat to help keep the 4R100 transmission cool and increase the overall durability of the unit. See more product details below.
