The E4OD transmission is Ford's first electronically controlled automatic transmission designed to increase fuel economy in heavy duty F-Series trucks and E-Series vans. Raybestos Powertrain GPZ friction clutch plates handle the heat to help keep the E4OD transmission cool and increase the overall durability of the unit.
