Raybestos Powertrain is proud to release new Stage-1 MaxPaks that improve clutch capacity for aftermarket applications compared to OE designs. With added capacity Stage-1 friction clutch plates, the Raybestos Powertrain MaxPak can greatly increase the performance of your automatic transmission rebuilds.“The MaxPak is a versatile specialty performance product, in that it works well with towing applications, racing, or any number of applications where someone would want to increase performance,” said Sales & Product Support Development Engineer Irvin Gers.Stage-1 Performance frictions handle the demands that a stock tan or high energy plate cannot by increasing holding capacity, while withstanding higher temperatures. These frictions are perfect for front and rear-wheel drive domestic and import street-strip, “Tuner” and off-road performance racing applications. MaxPaks may also include Kolene® steel clutch plates depending upon the application that provide higher heat resistance and increased lubricity for enhanced performance rebuilds.The MaxPak is now available for Ford 5R110W Low, Reverse, and Coast clutches and can be purchased from a distributor near you today.
